LOAN DEFAULT RISK SCORE

 

Much has been written about what caused the Foreclosure Crisis, but it cannot be denied that a large part of the Crisis was the result of people buying homes that they could not afford.  

 

Loans were provided to homeowners primarily based upon Credit Scores.  However, Credit Scores were not meant to evaluate Default Risk on mortgage loans.  Nor do Credit Scores take into consideration other loan level characteristics.

 

The LDR Score is a comprehensive methodology of evaluating the Default Risk of individual loans. It uses a methodology to evaluate Default Risk based upon both borrower and loan level characteristics.  The LDR Score is the perfect complement to any underwriting approval or loan purchase decision.

REPURCHASE EXAM

 

LFI Analytics offers a Repurchase Exam designed to determine if an individual loan is subject to defects that could result in demands for repurchase.  This exam can be used for both repurchase demands, and for repurchase defense.
